1. Why can I no longer upload videos from my local site?
A: AOL is no longer offering localized (translated) versions of AOL Video Uploads for France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Sweden, UK, or U.S. Latino, however, the U.S. version of the product is still currently available for you to view, download or delete your videos for a limited period of time.
2. Where are my videos? Have they been deleted?
A. Users will continue to have access to their videos on the U.S. site for a limited period of time. All videos that you have uploaded are still available at uncutvideo.aol.com/my/videos (UnCut Video is the old name of AOL Video Uploads) or by clicking on the My Uploads button from uncutvideo.aol.com. You will have to sign in with the AOL or AIM screen name and password, or the email address and password that you used when you uploaded the videos. Once you have logged in, the My Uploads page will be displayed you will see all of the videos that you have uploaded.
3. How do I save my videos to my computer so I do not lose them?
A: Go to uncutvideo.aol.com/my/videos (UnCut Video is the old name of AOL Video Uploads) or by clicking on the My Uploads button from uncutvideo.aol.com. You will have to sign into the AOL account, AIM account or the email address that you uploaded the videos to. For example, if you uploaded videos using a non-AOL email address, such as username@talktalk.net, username@neuf.fr, username@cegetel.fr you will need to log in using the same e-mail address and password.
Once you have loaded the My Uploads page you will see all of the videos that you have previously uploaded. Each of the videos has a green 'Download' button that will initiate a download. The videos are downloaded in Flash format and can be saved on your computer and then uploaded to another video site. Most video sites support uploading in Flash format.
4. How do I delete my videos?
A: By going to uncutvideo.aol.com/my/videos (UnCut Video is the old name of AOL Video Uploads) or by clicking on the My Uploads button from uncutvideo.aol.com. You will have to sign in with the AOL or AIM screen name and password, or the email address and password that you used when you uploaded the videos. For example, if you uploaded videos using non –AOL email address, such as.username@talktalk.net, username@neuf.fr, username@cegetel.fr you will need to log in using the same e-mail address and password.
Once you have logged in, the My Uploads page will be displayed and you will see all of the videos that you have uploaded. Each of the videos has a gray 'Delete' (in English) button that will remove your video from AOL.
5. I am afraid I will get lost on the U.S. site and unable to find the download function.
A: You can directly link to uncutvideo.com/my/videos to find your videos. The Download feature is clearly marked with the word 'Download' (in English) and will prompt you to save your videos through your local browser which should be in your local language.
